On the eve of FontBook App for iPad’s first birthday, we can’t wrap up this week’s series without extending a big THANK YOU to the over 25,000 (that’s 50,000 font-ogling eyeballs) of you who have downloaded the app in the last year. Now close your eyes, make a wish, and tell us in the comments what you’d like to see in FontBook’s future!

In my dream future I would import a manuscript into Fontbook and it would display the perfect fonts to complement the text!
The option to scale the custom text (compare tool) custom text for al typefaces
Create custom collections, print option…
I love fontbook. Why are there no hoefler frere jones? Ideal world would be able to input own text and have a look that way. But with this app and retina screen fonts look amazing!
Unfortunately we do not license H&FJ and can not include them into our app.
Have you tried the FontShop Plugin? You can now try the fonts we license in many Adobe CS programs. http://www.fontshop.com/plugin/
I love this app so much, and my wish is a better offline experience
